Once I heard the genius work on Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti at nine years old, I knew music would have a major (pun intended) role in my life. A graduate of the Orange County High School of the Arts, I was accepted into Berklee College of Music upon graduation. Ultimately, I decided to get my degree close to home and spent my early 20s in a band playing various shows throughout Southern California, including The Whiskey, The Viper Room, and Resident amongst many others.

When Covid happened, I mostly focused on private instruction. After taking a slight music hiatus to finish college, I stopped playing live for a while to focus on other interests and pursuits. However, every walk of life that I explored somehow brought me back to music. Having spent years of studying more music theory and continuing to refine my technique and playing style, I decided to get back out and do what I love doing most - performing.

Whether it’s a live show, teaching someone to play, (sitting in on live gigs or studio sessions) or even setting the mood at a museum or wedding, I always love seeing people’s faces light up at the power live music has. Whenever people ask me what my favorite genre or style of music is, I always tell them my only standard is that it’s good.
